MEN AT WORK

This is a free service available to members of our Church or Girls Day Out. If you experience a time of need or know of someone in a situation where ‘Men At Work’ can relieve some of the stress, then we are willing to provide help if we can. Some of the types of jobs we do are garden clean-up, gutter cleaning, tap washer replacement, small carpentry type mending jobs, light bulb replacement, etc.

We do not do jobs such as electrical work, plumbing or any jobs which by law require licensed trades people.

MEN’S BREAKFAST

We meet every Wednesday at 7am during school terms at the Sunset Rock Uniting Church for a simple breakfast but do have a ‘cook-up’ once per month. It is open to anyone and it is just a time of sharing between men to get to know each other better, discuss matters of mutual interest and also includes a time of prayer. Looking for a SCAM that can get you a night out with the boys? Well this is it. Stirling Cinematic Appreciation Men’s Society meets bi-monthly on the last Tuesday of odd months for pizza and a movie.

The rules for movie selection are that it will be a movie that we wouldn’t go to see with our wives & that it should preferably have a one word title (apparently our attention span won’t allow a longer title).

The quality of the movie viewed is therefore not guaranteed, but the company afterwards over a pizza makes up for it. Great night of fun for the guys. Contact David on 0401 138 259 or email.
